Jamie has developed a national reputation for political, communications and legislative strategy. He served as a senior advisor to the Obama campaign in Florida in 2008. He also led national democratic efforts to regain the U.S. Senate Majority in 2000 and has served as a senior public official and adviser in New Jersey politics for almost two decades. He is a regular media commentator on political and policy matters and participates in a weekly podcast, Virtual Jersey, hosted by The Bergen Record with Mike DuHaime, the top consultant for Governor Christie’s election campaign.

Jamie served as Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Deputy Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Chief of Staff to New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey and U.S. Senator Bob Torricelli, State Director for U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg and Executive Director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Jamie has regularly appeared on Politicsnj.com’s list of 100 most influential people in New Jersey.

At the Port Authority, Jamie was at the center of negotiations involving the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site and the creation of a public-private collaboration to modernize and renovate Newark Liberty International Airport. Jamie also spearheaded the Port Authority’s efforts to secure public and governmental support for a new commuter rail tunnel across the Hudson River and to develop a fourth airport for the metropolitan region.

As counselor and speechwriter to multiple Governors and a United States Senator, Eric has more than fifteen years of high-level experience in Washington, DC and Trenton. Eric has developed policy and communications strategy, interacted with the media, and built constituent and grass-roots coalitions to advance a broad range of public policy and legislative agendas from the budget to the environment to transportation. He has also helped write major public policy addresses for governmental leaders across the metropolitan region and is a published op-ed author himself.

Eric served as Counselor to New Jersey Governors Jim McGreevey and Dick Codey, Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Bob Torricelli and the Director of the New Jersey Office of Recovery and Victim Assistance after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Before founding Fox Shuffler with Jamie, Eric started his own consulting business which provided strategic governmental and public affairs advice in managing complex public policy and media challenges.

Before joining Fox Shuffler in 2008, Doug served as the Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for a 1,000 member statewide transportation association, where he oversaw legislative initiatives and lobbying efforts.

In this capacity, Doug has been at the forefront of lobbying initiatives regarding the Transportation Trust Fund and infrastructure funding. He has extensive bi-partisan relationships and experience in guiding both governmental agencies and private entities through complex legislative and regulatory processes.

Doug previously served in government as legislative liaison for two New Jersey Governors and former State Treasurer John McCormac. Doug is also a veteran of multiple gubernatorial campaigns across the East Coast and worked as a public affairs associate for a governmental affairs consulting firm.
